The Wedding Day has Arrived!

This is it, the big day. All the planning and stressing can finally come to an end! The venue has been set: Olde Oaks Golf Club in Haughton. The Flowers have arrived. And the Cake has been beautifully decorated Orange and Brown with painted Lillies cascading down one side.
Everyone has shown up in their Sunday best! Us girls spent the morning getting our hair fixed and our makeup evenly applied. We snacked on sandwiches and chocolate covered strawberries. Then we rushed out to the venue to dress and get ready for pictures.

Rehearsal Dinner at Eastridge Country Club

The McNiel Family hosted the Rehearsal Dinner at the Eastridge Country Club the night before the wedding. We had a great time listening to stories of Jordanna and Ryan's lives growing up and eating really good food.
Turner, who is the Ring Bearer, could not come because his school called earlier in the day saying he was sick and running a fever. My dad and uncle had to take him to the pediatrician's office only to find out he has strep throat! He got a shot right in the behind!

Jordanna's Bridal Brunch

The day before Jordanna's wedding, we hosted a bridal brunch for our family and the bridal party. It took place at Another Broken Egg in Shreveport- one of our favorite places to eat. We dined on baked brie and beignets.

The Melting Bacholorette Pot PAR-TAY!

While we were in Houston for Jordanna's ZEBRA Wedding Shower, I had arranged for us to celebrate that Saturday night the Bacholorette Party at the Melting Pot. My cousins were in town along with my bestie, who was visiting her sister.

Ashley dressed Jordanna up in Briday fashion with a beautiful tiara/vail and we showered her with naughty gifts to use on her honeymoon night!

Jordanna's First Wedding Shower

This year Jordanna, my little sister, got engaged. I think it was in January when Ryan proposed to her. Jordanna moved to Houston, they picked out a ring, built a brand new house, and now they are getting married. She has always wanted a fall wedding so The Date is set for October 9 of 2010.

One of her good friends, Ashley, and her mom threw Jordanna a wedding shower in Houston August 28th. Can you guess the theme?
