Another Christmas! (in Covington, La)

We drove down to Covington to visit the Polos for Christmas this past Saturday. Turner and Isabella exchanged gifts- Turner received another guitar to add to his collection along with a star station and in turn we gave Isabella lots of clothes. We had a lot of fun catching up and we ate really well-leaving with a full belly yesterday from the Broken Egg!

More Rock Pictures

These pictures were too cute not to post! Turner is wearing his aunt Danna's hat and jammin' on the guitar while Ryan is playing the drums!

He is gettin' down! Look at that face!

The rest of Christmas Day!

We left at 9am to travel to Bastrop for lunch with the Ritchie family. And, then after we stuffed our selves with Dumplings, homegrown corn, butterbeans, peas, and mashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese with chocolate pie, Oreo pie, coconut pie and cake (this is not even half of what we ate), we headed up to Monroe to meet with my mom's family and to eat AGAIN!

Turner watching London pet a rooster. We tried to get Turner to pet it but this is as close as he would get.

And, when the day was over, Turner crashed on Aunt Terri's couch while mommy, daddy, Leah, Steven, Jordanna, and Maure rocked out to Rockband!

Christmas Day

Wow, Rockband!
Sarah and Turner!
Diego's outfit from Mommy and Daddy!
And, a wagon from Mamaw and Papaw.

This is the first year that we spent Christmas at home. We figured it would be easier for Santa to leave all of Turner's presents here. Mimi, Papa, and Jordanna stayed the night. We went to Christmas Eve service and then off to Nicky's for dinner. Mom and I woke up at 6am to get ready before Wes' parents and Sarah came by to watch Turner. Then, Turner was up at 630am! He wasn't too sure about seeing his gifts, he is not a morning person. But, it wasn't too long before he was rockin' on his new guitar and drums! Santa also left a digital camera and a flashlight. Thanks, Santa!

We went down to the Boardwalk Saturday night for the "Blizzard" but we ended up being late and missed it! But, we did get a few cute pics of Turner and Anden at the Christmas Tree!

I knew it was going to happen sooner or later.

Well, it happened! Wes and I were getting ready for the Transiberian Orchestra last night when we noticed how quite Turner had gotten. Wes walked into the living room and there was Turner tearing into as many presents as he could get his hands on! Thankfully, he didn't get to any of his!

Also, if anyone ever gets the chance to see the Transiberian Orchestra, I highly recommend it! Wes and I went with Jason and Tara Bordelon and we loved it!

Happy Birthday, Gibson!

Gibson's birthday party was last Saturday at Party Central where the kids got to play all of the arcade games and eat pizza and cake!

Christmas Party

We had our annual Christmas party at our house last Friday night with the Arnolds, Burchams, and Harvills. We ate tons of Mexican food and let the kids open presents from each other.
DeAnn, Cole, Casey, Gamble, and Steve open gifts.

Christmas Parade

We met up with the Arnolds and Harvills Saturday morning to watch the Christmas parade at the CenturyTel Center.
Turner and Anden are eating that Cotton Candy as fast as they can. Cole is wanting his share, too! (Check out Cole's do from the side!!!)

Throw me something, mister!

Dog Days of Christmas

Our puppies are even in the Christmas Spirit after a relaxing day at the groomers! Don't they look happy and festive?

Jefferson Railroad

We went to Jefferson to ride on the "Historic Railway" Friday night and although there was not much to it, Turner sat very still for the 40 minute ride.

Here is Papa and Mimi, taken by Turner.

Park Time

Turner and I met 3/4s of the Arnolds this past Saturday at the park. I let Turner exhaust all of his energy so he would sleep through part of the big LSU game.
